Where It All Began
In 2014, while I was in college God saved my dear soul!
At nineteen, my life changed forever. I went from a dark past of family trauma, depression, addictions, etc… to a life in Christ.
After graduation, I became an ESL teacher for middle schoolers, and in my last two years of teaching I taught 3rd & 4th grade Bible at a local Christian school.
And that brings me to this new season in life.
A Little About Me
My name is Rosa Rosa (it’s not accidently repeated ha-ha).
In 2022, I married Mr. Rosa, and so my last name changed from Rosa Renteria to Rosa Rosa.
Fast forward to 2023 and I became a new mom to sweet little baby Rosa.
He keeps me busy, and I am no longer teaching at any school right now, but I’m teaching this little one to take naps and eat cheerios.
My favorite things right now are gardening, cooking and bookbinding.
These hobbies bring me comfort after a long day.
Recently, I also started filming and making some videos.
I’m a creative soul. I just find joy in creating.
God is the ultimate Creator, so we have to be a reflection of Him!
Don’t you think that’s why humans are so creative?
The Why of the Blog
In 2020, I stopped teaching for a year, and I began a small art business and started this blog a year later.
The intention was and is to write and share what I learn along the way, and that’s why I’m here!
The most beautiful part about learning is passing the knowledge along. The Lord teaches us daily in his word, and we are lifelong learners.
My vision is to keep on learning and teaching.
